Who I am

Apart from my first nine months, I have lived in Rotterdam my whole live. Here, I went to primary school and got my pre-university education. After that, I worked four years as an assistant-auditor and studied at the Dutch institute for chartered accountants (NIVRA). Then, I did various things for one year before I went to study M.A. Dutch language at the University of Leiden.

After graduation I became a writer/editor at a communication agency in The Hague. I stayed here four years and then switched to another agency in Bilthoven until 1996. In that year, I decided to start as an independent writer. Very soon it became obvious that I had the most fun and success with communication with which I have to make something clear to others. My career as a technical writer had started.
